---------------------------------------------

When you found him, you couldn't fathom to why he was still alive.

His body had suffered through many life threatening injuries and the angel like wings on his back were tainted in his own blood.

You knew that it was a race against time, this man would die if you didn't help him right that instant.

So you ran with all your might to the nearest village and begged for their help to get him to your clinic as fast as possible.

With the kind help of the pop star residents you managed to get him to surgery as fast as possible.

A couple of nurses that you had trained came in on short notice to help you during the surgery. It was tough, but you managed to clean and close all his wounds.

From his appearance, you guessed by now that he was some sort of knight.

His pink and white armor had been scratched and dented, it made you assume that this knight might have been recently in battle.

You thought how lucky he was because you found him. As a talented doctor, you usually went down to the nearby villages to assist them with your services.

You lived up in the mountain side, where you had your two story cabin home and the clinic was next door.

If someone became seriously sick or injured, you usually let them stay with you until they become better, It was a job you liked a lot.

You always dreamed of being a doctor ever since you were a little kid. Your parents were a little sceptic about it at first, but over time they became very proud of you, sometimes coming over to visit and to fuss over how you needed to take more care of yourself.

To be able to be a ray of hope for those who needed help, it was what made you so happy to do this job.

The dream of becoming a doctor was one you had fought to achieve, and due to being such a massive help to the community, the nearby villages helped to make your clinic a reality.

You now finally had done one of the most challenging surgery in your career yet.

The nurses were exhausted and you thanked them on a job well done.

Lucky for the pink haired knight you had many visitors that often donated blood. Including a few visitors that were from other planets or even dimensions completely. It was easy to find a match for his blood type with so many generous givers.

However with all the blood the knight had lost, You weren't sure if he was going to make it.

It was a miracle that his angel like wings had only suffered through some bad sprains, with some rest and proper training they could recover, though it would take some time to do so.

You guessed only time would tell if the knight would survive.

The many days that passed by and so far two weeks after, it seemed that the knight was still asleep and in a stable condition.

All you could do was to give him time. You were positive that he was going to be fine.

The very next day, you headed to the sick bay where your patient was resting.

You let out a yawn and stretched out, it was starting to get very late, you had been wrapped up in your studies all day.

Once you entered the infirmary, you immediately noticed something was indeed different with your patient tonight.

He was awake and was attempting to get out of bed.

Almost immediately you raced towards him. A strict tone was etched in your voice. "Oh, no, no! You better take it easy still, you are in no condition to get up!" Your presence made the knight turn his attention to you.

"Where am I? Who are you?" His voice was dry and hoarse. You pushed him to get back into the bed and the knight grumbled as he sat up in bed, his whole body ached in pain.

"You are at Pop star clinic and I am the doctor on staff here; I was the one who found you and with some help I managed to get you here." Your explanation made the pink knight wonder why he was even alive.

"You must be quite thirsty, I'll go get you some water and I can make you some soup, just wait here, I will be right back." You excused yourself and left the room, all while the knight was all too deep in thought.

Galacta knight let out a heavy sigh. When he was released from his seal, he still felt angry, so furious at the ancients that made Nova seal him away.

They feared his power and for good reason. There was none that could match him in battle.

All until now, when that masked knight in blue, did the impossible.

To fathom that even he could lose was quite strange. Several times Galacta attempted to remember back to the battle.

He had been ruthless against this blue knight, he had been so angry. But in the end, he still lost.

Galacta grumbled as his thoughts were interrupted by a headache. His wounds still ached and he now guessed that he was going to be forced to sleep on his stomach, due to his injured wings.

It wasn't long before the doors opened and the young doctor came in, a tray of food and water was in their hands.

You let on a friendly smile as you carried the tray over to him.

"Here you go! Some good soup that is easy on the stomach, along with some bread. Once you get some food down, I am sure you'll start to feel better." You kept a warm tone, placing the tray carefully in his lap and Galacta accepted it, feeling quite grateful.

"Thank you, doctor. You say you were the one found me, so I assume you were the one who patched me up?”

You nodded to his question and you proceeded to sit down on a chair beside his bed.

"Yes, Me and the nurses I have in training helped out in the surgery. I was on the way to one of the local villages to do some errands, when I found you in a very critical condition. I hurried to the village to get help so we could get you up to my clinic in time." You explained, as you watched the man start to eat the soup you had prepared.

"I see,” He looked at you and took notice of your name tag. He read over your name carefully in his mind and wondered why you would go out of your trouble to save him, nevertheless he knew that he owed his life to you.  “I would like to thank you for all the trouble Doctor _______; I owe my life to you.”

Galacta could see the slight surprise upon your features for a minute, before you realized why he knew your name.

"Oh, of course! I tend to forget that I even wear my nametag!” You laugh, a little embarrassed, “As for saving your life, you’re welcome! It’s my job after all.”

Galacta knight looked around and on the bedside table lay his mask, it was a bit scratched but still wearable.

“Doctor ______, may I ask where my armor and my lance is? It would be quite bothersome if I lost it.” Galacta sincerely hoped that it wasn’t destroyed in the battle.

“Oh, actually I sent your armor and lance off for repairs at a weaponsmith in the nearest village from here. It came back yesterday brand new and now it’s stored away neatly until you’re better again.” Galacta was relieved to hear that his things were alright.

“Thank you very much Doctor ______. You didn’t need to do such a thing for me, but I really appreciate that you did.”

You smiled at his gratefulness, like you had expected from a knight, he was very polite.

"Well now that you know my name, I would very much want to know yours and how you managed to get hurt in the first place." You heard him let out a sigh as he finished up the food before him.

"I am called Galacta knight, as for how I ended up that way, It is quite a long story." Galacta explained, as he began to ponder about the blue knight he fought. If only he could recall his name.

"I see; Perhaps you could tell me your story some time? But if you don’t want to then that is fine. As for now, do you want a second serving of food? Or do you want to rest?" Your concern for his well being was quite sweet.

Though he reminded himself that you might begin to grow a strong dislike of him if you learned of what he had done.

Galacta was so used to be feared and avoided, your kindness was a little refreshing after so many centuries of fear, anger and hatred towards him.

"You are very a very kind person, Doctor ______...But I think you shouldn’t get involved with a dangerous man like me. You will regret it.”

His somber warning was met with a frown as you began to wonder whatever had happened to this man.

“What do you mean by that? From my impression of your armor, I guessed you were a knight. You will not harm an unarmed individual who has helped you, would you?”

Galacta hung his head in shame. Wondering if he should tell a stranger like you about his bloodstained past.

“I don’t intend to harm you or any innocent people here; It’s just complicated.”

You glanced at him a little uncertain to what you should make of his strange explanation. But you guessed you would just have to trust his word.

“Alright...But still; I am curious about what has happened to you, but like I said earlier you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.”

Galacta felt a little relieved that you didn’t press any further on the topic, though he could tell that you were a bit uncertain.

“If you are worried that I will harm you or anyone that is unarmed; I will not do such a thing. I promise.”

The pink knight’s sounded rather sincere and you decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.

“Very well, you can stay here until you have fully recovered. Though I would recommend that you take it easy for a while.”

Galacta knight frowned at your suggestion.

“I can’t take it easy for too long, I have to train.” Galacta knew that the day would come when he would meet the blue knight again. He needed to be ready.

“I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you aren’t going to train for at least three months!” When you said this Galacta just glared at you in return.

“I can’t wait for three months doctor.” His blunt reply made you a little irritated, stubborn patients were a pain to deal with.

“Tell me Galacta knight; Do you want your wounds to open and bleed out?” As you asked this question he grumbled and avoided eye contact with you.

“I intend to be careful!” He replied a little irritated over that you were trying to boss him around.

“Even if you say that, I know for a fact that combat training is out of the question! You are pretty much fresh out of surgery and I bet you can’t even stand on two legs yet, isn’t that right?”

True enough, you were right. His legs felt weak and his wounds still ached a little. Galacta let out a sigh of defeat.

“Fine! I will wait with my training, but not for three months, that is just too long.”

You knew of these kind of stubborn people. They will not back down completely on what they have their heart set on.

Too bad for him that you weren’t the type to back down easily either.

“What you need to train on is to get on your feet first! I don’t understand what your rush is, but I would recommend you to take it step by step for now.”

Galacta saw no other way than to give in to your demands.

“Now that I’m fed, I would like to go back to sleep.”

You nodded to Galacta’s request and collected the tray off his lap.

“Alright, that is fine, But tell me if your wounds ache badly, because you can get some strong painkillers to help you sleep.”

Galacta knight thought about your offer as he looked out the window, it was evening.

“Since it’s so late in the evening, I might as well accept your offer. Thank you doctor ______.”

Your lips tugged into a smile at his gratitude.

“You are welcome, and there is no need for you to be so formal, just my name will be fine. I’ll be right back.”

Galacta knight glanced over at your retreating back as you left the infirmary.

He wasn’t sure how to feel. He felt grateful towards you, but at the same time he was so confused.

Many questions buzzed in his mind. So many “why’s?” and “How’s?”

In the end he had to put the questions to rest, his head throbbed in pain from an oncoming headache.

It didn’t take too long before you came back with his painkillers. He swallowed the pills with ease and washed them down with water.

The pink knight lay down on his stomach and watched your every move as you went about the room.

You were aware of his gaze as you went around and dimmed the lights down for the evening.

Closing the curtains, you turn to look at him back.

“Is there something you want to ask me?” You guessed it was something he was curious about.

The knight let a sigh as he turned away and you stare at him, honestly a little annoyed.

A big yawn pass your lips, as you feel the toll of the day lay its burden on you. It was time to retreat to bed.

“Well I am exhausted! It has been a long day and I need my beauty sleep, behave and stay in bed while I’m gone!
If there is anything urgent you need, there is an alarm you can pull by the bed. I will try my best to come as fast as possible.”

Galacta frowned at your explanation. Didn’t you have people to take your night shifts for you?

“Good night Galacta.” You turned to leave and it wasn’t long before he replied.

“Good night, Doctor _____.”

Galacta heard as your footsteps faded and he was alone once again.

He gently tried to move so he could sleep on his side, his whole body ached in pain as he tried to find a comfortable position.

Thanks to the painkillers the aches in his body was starting to fade and he let out a sigh of relief as he allowed the comfortable darkness of sleep claim him.

-------------------------------------------------------

The very next day, Galacta woke up to find that he had almost slept until noon.

You came in with a tray of food and once he had eaten, he let you take a check up on his wounds.

“Alright, take a deep breath with your mouth.” You placed the ice cold stethoscope on his back, making the pink knight shiver slightly as he did what he was told.

Listening to any hints of abnormal sounds from his lungs or heart, you were relieved to hear that everything seemed be normal.

“Everything sounds nice and normal here, you are a very lucky man to be alive.” You were honestly a little surprised with him.

He survived the internal injuries, his blood pressure was dangerously low during the surgery and his heart worked on over time to support his body.

It was an amazing miracle that he didn’t suffer a heart attack.

“I don’t get it Doctor ______.” Galacta’s warm pink eyes met your own and you looked at him, wondering what had him so confused.

“So as I understand it, I was on the brink of death, right?” You nodded to his question.

“Yes, I’m rather amazed that you made it. Honestly I almost half expected you to die the first night after the surgery, a horrible thing to say I know; But really I am just blown away that you actually lived.”

Your confession made the pink knight silent in thought. He looked at you check on his stitches, they had healed nicely so far, but still you were positive to forbid him any heavy lifting or excessive exercises.

He then broke the silence, wanting to know something that had been bugging him since he woke up last night.

“Why did you go all out of your way to save me? I could have easily died at any time and wasted your time. So why did you do it?”

You thought about his question carefully.

“Well...I couldn’t just let you die without doing anything! I would have been ashamed to call myself a doctor if I ignored a person that I have the potential to save. Even if my patient died, I could at least be proud that I tried my best to save them.”

Galacta knight hummed in interest at your explanation. He could sense the passion for the work you loved.

It reminded him of how passionate he was to protect the kingdom of Halcandra.

All until he apparently took his justice too far and the people he had served all his life decided to seal him away.

He was broken out of thought when you seemed to have finished with his check up, he hoped that it wouldn’t be too long for him to begin his training again.

“Well, well, now it seems that your stitches have healed very nicely so far, though there might be some faint scarring for some of the worst ones. I am still very positive on that you take it easy these first three months for an effective recovery. So no heavy lifting whatsoever.”

Galacta knight grumbled in dissatisfaction at your doctor orders. “That is still far too long to wait! I need to prepare myself for the next time I meet him, I will have my title back!”

You frowned in confusion. “What do you mean by title and just who is it that you want to meet again?”

Galacta cursed internally as he let out a heavy sigh. “That is nothing you should be concerned about.”

You crossed your arms and glared straight into Galacta’s warm pink eyes.

“True enough that your personal affairs have nothing to do with me. But if you’re so desperate to duel whoever took your title and I suppose this person is the cause of your horrible injuries; So for you to be at full strength, You are going to have to follow doctor’s orders!”

You had him tied on both hands and feet, Galacta knight couldn’t think of anything to counter the argument.

A slight smirk came upon his lips. At least you had spunk enough to stand up against him.

“You sure are a strict doctor, _____, I will try to wait, but I can’t guarantee any promises.”

You couldn’t help but to laugh a little. “Very good! As long as I don’t have to sew you up a dozen times, I won’t mind too much.”

With the check up done, Galacta lay down to relax. His eyes observed as you left the infirmary.

The pink knight let out a heavy sigh as he began to accept his situation. He would just have to wait it through these three months.

Well at least the doctor was an interesting individual that was for sure.
So this was originally a draft lying around in my stash, I decided to rewrite it because Galacta knight needed more love and attention.
